Graphite Powder Graphite 100g Graphite 500g Graphite 1kg Graphite 6kg
Graphite is available in two main types, Synthetic and Natural. Synthetic graphite is a high purity material with excellent batch consistency and thermal / electrical conductivity. Natural graphite is normally favoured for less demanding applications as it is cheaper. Inoxia has a high turnover of synthetic graphite, we are able to offer this single superior product at a lower price than stocking natural graphite in addition to our synthetic graphite product.

Applications

Handling

Graphite powder is light and fluid when aerated, making it easy to pour or transfer. It can also be compacted into solid shapes that retain their form, even if overhanging or bridging occurs in containers. If transferring compacted graphite by scooping, the material can form a large heap on the scoop that may collapse. Take care to avoid spillage, as it can make floors slippery and reduce the braking ability of plant or vehicles if contamination occurs.
Spills should ideally be collected using a vacuum cleaner to minimise dust. If this isn’t possible, gently sweep the material to avoid creating airborne particles, and transfer it to a covered container for reuse or disposal.
Graphite is stable at room temperature and resistant to moisture absorption, so it can be stored safely in standard conditions. For easy handling, use containers that allow controlled pouring, and avoid compacting unless solid shapes are required.
While graphite is generally low hazard, airborne dust can cause mild irritation to eyes and respiratory passages, and surfaces can become slippery. Minimise dust during handling, and clean spills promptly to prevent slips or contamination of machinery. Refer to the SDS for full safety information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your Graphite made?

Inoxia graphite products are made in the UK.

We are specifically looking for 150-840um size range if possible

Inoxia has an excellent relationship with the manufacturer and can provide non stock specification of graphite if you have a requirement of 100kg+

Would you offer larger, bulk supplies?

The largest Inoxia graphite bag is 20kg, you can add multiples of these to your shopping basket. If you need 100kg+ contact us and we will provide our best quote. Full pallets are 1000kg from stock and bulk bags available to order.

Do you have graphite in stock?

Yes, we keep graphite in the Inoxia UK warehouse, ready to ship the same day as your order.

I’m looking for suitable materials such as graphite and carbon black for making EMF paint and wondering if you can recommend best products?

Exact formulations are not freely available, but a good starting point for this is 30% - 50% by weight of graphite in acrylic or latex-based paint base.

Can I ask you to share the MSDS of the Graphite material in Spanish? Or other languages?

If the SDS in your required language is not in the download section, contact us and we will provide one.

Could you please give me information about minimum order quantity, EXW price and delivery time?

100g is our smallest bag size. EXW prices are above. Add items to your shopping basket to see delivered prices. See our shipping information for delivery times.

Do you offer custom packaging in our branding?

Yes, we can dispense our graphite product into your packaging, or into our packaging with your design. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

I am interested in your graphite powder but would like to know what the thermal conductivity (W/m-k) of this powder is to determine if this is a suitable product for my research project.

Inoxia has not tested this on our graphite product. Literature values suggest it should be around 100–400 W/m-k.

We are looking for a 2.5kg sample of Graphite Dry to MIL-Specification MIL-DTL-155C type IV. Is this something you can assist with?

Type IV is a natural graphite, so the Inoxia product would not be suitable.

if there are options of buying similar qualities graphite in masterbatch to be added to HDPE

This isn’t a graphite preparation Inoxia can offer.

Do you sell expandable graphite for flame retardancy in polyurethane products?

Inoxia does not offer expandable graphite at this time.

Could you please let me have the commodity code for the graphite powder

HS code for Graphite is 38011000
