20mm cylpebs (Al₂O₃) ceramic balls, very hard wearing and ideal for ball milling. Ceramic cylpebs are inert, do not spark unless struck together with very large force and will not react with any standard chemicals used in pyrotechnics.
For volume calculations, 1kg will take up roughly half a litre.
